Hearing Tests

At Hearing Options Pty Ltd, we guarantee you service. There is an initial consultation, then aid fitting and follow up consultation and long-term care. We put you and your hearing health as our priority.

We begin with a one to one and a half hour appointment which involves going through your health history, a detailed hearing test, speech test and a central processing test. This will give the results of the anticipated hearing handicap. We also assess your perception of the hearing handicap, and discuss which parts of the handicap to prioritise with your hearing management plan. Once this process is complete, we will discuss your hearing plan and any fees involved. 

We then customise a recommended hearing aid from an extensive range of hearing aid types and brands. This hearing device is adjusted specifically for your ear and your hearing needs. Each hearing aid is like a mini computer and is fully adjustable. Once your hearing aid has been fitted, we then have a follow up consultation in two to three weeks. We will discuss the performance of your hearing aid against agreed goals. We can then fine tune your hearing aid or entirely re-program your device if necessary.
